I do apologize I have not blogged in so long. I have been home in nyc for nearly a month and I have been busy doing a whole lot of nothing. I thought Germany was hot boy was I wrong it is hotter than hell here the last few days I mean like no relief hot!I am living in a sublet in Morning Side Heights. The apartment is small but the block is an old school hold out block there are these dudes that hang on the block all the time and when it gets real hot they open the fire hydrant for the kids to play in. On the weekends they put chairs out in the street and drink cases of beer and play latin music. My living room is a first floor front apartment So Incan watch the world pass by. Last night i went out to have a smoke and some kid asked me if i remembered him. he told me I was his teacher 4 years ago he said he was a real bad kid in class but now he just graduated high school and is going to go to college. I did not recognize him. While I was smoking a rat was crawling on the garbage can next to me .I am watching the tour de france on tv go through rainy europe the irony does not escape me that i live in europe and am watching europe on TV. NY has not changed much besides a few tall buildings here and there that are new and things are still where they are or replaced by new businesses. I do not look forward to going home to europe but i also do not look forward to leaving.........Home.......BACK.....NEXT
