Alan Jones was my roomate when I lived in Cairo Egypt. I got an email message last week that he was found dead in his apartment in shanghai china. I will miss Alan we had plans to meet up this summer I have not seen him in three years. I met Alan in washington D.C. at a job fair. After I left Cairo we kept in touch he stayed with me in NY on a visit once and I visited him once in puerto rico when he was teaching there.The last time I saw him was in NY he was staying at my crib and attending a job fair and he was happy because he was moving to China.This pic was on the roof of the school we worked on where we could go to take smoke breaks. I didnt take this photo. he was in some sort of car accident hence the neckbrace.

Alan was a good freind a very positive force in my life whom I will forever miss. Alan my brother may you rest in peace....back.....home...... NEXT
