MOMA sucks I went by there and they had a fast shuttle of lines that the lady assured me would take no more than 15 minutes for Target Free Fridays. Like I got 15 fucking minutes to wait on line! Of course I do but. Do I wanna? Hell NO.i am in NYC on vacation I am in a rush! I went there to see this dudes work .....Dan Perjovschi.....and did not have the patience to wait on line with families from France and people from the west coast to see it I will try to see it soon.When I do i will try to remember to blog about it...
It is a small show but rich with detail. I especially like the old school advertisements where baseball players were in cigarette ads.They have some really nice original bats and gloves and home plates and do not miss the original jerseys (mantle)..One of the only things that disappointed me was a lack of pictures of the POLO GROUNDS..Maybe there was a picture of it their but I did not see it. Good show on the second floor of photography by Eugene de Salignac..i was not so hot on the Fascist stuff involving the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. I get enough of that at home. Then there was a jewish thing I breezed through. Small Muse am of good show on baseball if you are a fan of the game especially NY teams and into nostalgia a must see!
