In 2010 I bought a small home in the town of Amberg Germany. The Small plot of land that the house stands on dates back to way before America was even a country.The records of the house state that it was built in the late 1940's. Two owners ago the house was a Jewelry store so there is a small storefront. Since I have been living in Germany I have had a painting studio and have amassed a collection of works of arts on various themes. I decided to use this vacant storefront as a gallery to display not only my work but the work of other artists.

In keeping with the tradition of the residence being a jewelry store I decided on a name for the space.

Schmuck in German is jewelry and Atelier is french for an artists studio or work room so I named the space "SchmuckARTelier"
