The entire atmosphere was festive like when I went to Mexico City on X mas day back in the day...
Across from all of this is an important goverment building. I think it is Parliament or something I am not sure. Here is where the tomb of the unknown soldier lies and they have a changing of the guard every hour. They wear these very traditional outfits that have all sorts of signifigance. They stand there stoned faced while tourists and locals take pictures of them while they stay absolutley still. They have little pom poms on their feet.
