JUNE 15-20

I went to austria for a week and learned a new language . It is called proper english. The one that I think that astonished me the most was that a pen is called a BIRO. I jogged in the moring one and a half miles up. The elevation of the town was 800 meters. In the moring I would see the cows and run down very pretty vallies while the sun would go in and out of the sky. Mauterndorf is a small town so small if you kept driving you may find no reason to stop but it was very pretty. I stayed at this place it is very kid friendly with multiple soccer fields , volleyball nets, game room and lounges. elizabeth is a great host and will bend over backwards to make sure everything you have is in order. In winter I saw they have skiing so I may go back. I had a room that was an apartment with a full kitchen and it was really put toghether well. It was a long drive and at one point I had to drive through a tunnel that was 11 kilometers long with traffic going in two directions. After like 5K you get a little testy and think about wether or not you got enough food in the boot of the car ( BOOT OF THE CAR?) to sustain yourself if there is an avalanche. I watched Germany play austria with a bunch of austrians and it felt good to be in a crowd that for once was rooting against Germany.
