I am getting real sick of the talk about politics. Why do people feel that it is their civic duty to vote ? I believe it is my civic duty to deface property but I do not do it anymore. Why also if you do not believe in any candidate and what they stand for must you excersize your right to vote? There is not one candidate that I feel represents any of the things that I equate myself with.But I am suppose to chose the lesser of two or three evils. Screw that! I am convinced this is another tactic that is in use to empower the masses so that they feel some sort of justification in their insignifigant lives.Like the fat cats are sitting somewhere and saying 'yea we let them vote and they feel like they got a say in things when we are gonna run things however we want anyway" What happened to the Democratic lead house and senate how much have they gotten done in the last year? If there is no viable third party I will always refuse to vote.I represent the 50percent plus of americans who do not vote. This is a democracy don't I have a right not to participate and still complain? If I cannot complain because I do not vote isn't that a way of using a stupid tactic to hold down my rights.I am also going with the good old fashioned American tradition of buying votes. Back in the day they would buy votes. Well my vote is for sale if you want to buy it make me an offer.
