I made this painting for a friend. It was a commission piece I owed her a favor so I made it for cheap. She never really followed through on the deal so It taught me a valuable lesson about commissions. I am not mad at her for not following through though stuff happens. I think it is now hanging in her apartment on the Upper East side of Manhattan in her private collection.
I included 103 because at that time I knew that was her subway stop. All the faces in the painting are of her from photographs.It is a large painting made of spray paint acrylic and marker.
